A story out of Cointelegraph indicates that a Chinese official named Xiao Yi has been sentenced to life in prison for mining bitcoin. His operation is thought to be worth US$ 329 million. Yi had apparently assisted Jiumu Group Genesis Technology in Fuzhou, and allegedly worked to hide the operation. China prohibits crypto trading. Exchanges…
