Mubadala’s Mamoura Diversified Global Holding Recognized $4.19 Billion in Losses in Unquoted Funds for 2022

A subsidiary of Mubadala Investment Company, Mamoura Diversified Global Holding PJSC, released its December 31, 2022 financial statements. Mamoura Diversified Global Holding is core part of the original Mubadala, leaving out Abu Dhabi Investment Council (2018). Mubadala absorbed ADIC in 2018.
According to financial statements, in 2022, Mamoura Diversified Global Holding made new investments of around AED 20,320 million (US$ 5.53 billion) and disposal of approximately AED 17,681 million in unquoted funds. Unquoted funds include private equity funds. Mamoura Diversified Global Holding recognized a net fair value loss of approximately AED 15,387 million (US$ 4.188 billion) (2021: net fair value gain of approximately AED 10,014 million) on its unquoted fund investments.
Mubadala’s Asset Management Business
As at 31 December 2022, Mamoura Diversified Global Holding managed third party capital of AED 21,209 million (US$ 5.773 billion) (December 31, 2021: AED 19,761 million).
