AD Ports Group to Acquire Spanish Logistics Operator Noatum

AD Ports Group is the operator of industrial cities and free zones in the United Arab Emirates. AD Ports Group signed a deal to acquire 100% of Noatum, a Spanish integrated logistics platform. The enterprise value for 100% ownership of Noatum amounts to 2.5 billion AED (US$ 681 million). The deal will be fully funded through a new acquisition loan.
AD Ports Group is under the empire of Abu Dhabi Developmental Holding Company PJSC (ADQ). With origins from 1963, Noatum operates in three business areas: logistics, maritime and port terminals. Noatum has a presence in 26 countries.
