SoftBank Vision Fund 2 Dabbles in Web3.0 Infra Company InfStones

Zhenwu Shi is the founder of InfStones (Infinity Stones Inc.), a Palo Alto-based web3 infrastructure startup. InfStones raised US$ 66 million from a round led by Softbank Group Corporation (via SoftBank Vision Fund 2) and GGV Capital. Other investors include INCE Capital, 10T Fund, Beijing-based crypto venture investor SNZ Holding, and venture investor A&T Capital. The new capital will help InfStones grow its team, build out its blockchain infrastructure solutions, expand into new markets and pursue potential partnerships and acquisitions. InfStones offers a node management platform and application programming interface (API) for Web 3 developers. InfStones supports nodes on BNB Chain, Cardano, Chainlink, Ethereum, Polkadot, Polygon, and Solana.
Months ago, InfStones raised US$ 33 million.
InfStones competes against Blockdaemon and Alchemy Insights, Inc (Alchemy).
On February 8, 2022, San Francisco-based Alchemy, a blockchain developer platform, raised US$ 200 million in Series C1 funding at a US$ 10.2 billion valuation. Silver Lake Partners and Lightspeed Venture Partners co-led, and were joined by return backers Andreessen Horowitz (a16z), Coatue Capital, LLC, DFJ, Pantera Capital, and Addition.
