Aker ASA Hires Former NBIM CEO

Norwegian conglomerate Aker ASA hired Yngve Slyngstad to lead its asset management unit, focusing on renewable energy projects. Yngve Slyngstad is the former Chief Executive Officer of Norges Bank Investment Management (NBIM), which oversaw the country’s sovereign wealth fund.
Yngve Slyngstad was hired as CEO and Senior Partner of Aker Asset Management. Slyngstad will assume the position on March 1, 2022.

NBIM oversees Norway Government Pension Fund Global.
