1. Taiwan’s Defence Ministry disclosed that 52 Chinese Air Force aircraft entered Taiwan’s defence zone on October 4, 2021. China considers Taiwan as part of China. Taiwan’s government says its communicating with friendly countries to jointly contain China’s “malicious provocations,” and says China is the “chief culprit” in increasing tensions across the Taiwan strait.

China’s foreign ministry says the U.S. should stop supporting Taiwan independence separatist forces.

2. As panic buying and shortages of fuel plague the U.K., around 200 British military personnel have begun delivering fuel to gas stations as part of Operation Escalin.

3. Hong Kong-Listed Fantasia Holdings Group Company Limited is a property developer in China. It operates in five segments: property development, property investment, property operation services, property agency services and hotel services. Fantasia Holdings Group failed to make a payment due on its 2021 notes.

4. China Evergrande Group will sell a majority 51% stake in its property management business for more than US$ 5 billion to Hopson Development for more than HK$ 40 billion.

William Shatner (age 90) who played Captain Kirk in the original Star Trek TV series getting his chance to go to space. “Yes, it’s true; I’m going to be a ‘rocket man!’” William Shatner tweeted. He added: “It’s never too late to experience new things.”

Jeff Bezos’ rocket company Blue Origin invited Shatner to fly as its guest. Shatner will become the oldest person to go to space.
