JP Morgan Financially Backs UK Property Finance Company LendInvest

Property financing and investment platform LendInvest has secured a £500 million investment from JP Morgan. London-based LendInvest is a non-bank mortgage lender in the U.K.
The deal comes after LendInvest sold a £125 million mortgage portfolio to JP Morgan in September 2020. JP Morgan’s investment will be used for LendInvest’s future mortgage originations. LendInvest cancelled its IPO.
LendInvest was launched in 2013 when it was spun out of Montello, a London-based specialist short-term property finance lender.
