Tishman Speyer and PSP Investments Buy Some Notable Properties in Paris

Tishman Speyer announced it has acquired the Tour Cristal in central Paris, along with its partner the Public Sector Pension Investment Board (PSP Investments). Tour Cristal is a 26,000 square meter office tower that is located in the 15th Arrondissement in Paris. Built in 1990, the Tour Cristal was the last tower to be developed in the ‘Front de Seine’ area and is to date among the last high-rise towers built in central Paris. Tour Cristal has been owned by the Allianz Group (Allianz SE) since 1995, restructuring work was begun on the Tour Cristal in 2007, and finished in 2010.

Another Deal

On another deal, Tishman Speyer and PSP Investments acquired the Carré Saint-Germain in central Paris, France. The Carré Saint-Germain was acquired from AXA IM – Real Assets acting on behalf of clients. The iconic 13,800 square meter mixed-used property is located in the heart of Paris, on the prestigious Boulevard Saint-Germain. It is part of the historical Saint-Germain des Prés district and surrounded by the Seine river banks to the North and the Jardin du Luxembourg to the South.
