German Government Plans Some Aid for Impacted Business due to COVID-19

The Federal Government of Germany and state premiers have agreed to a new COVID-19 aid package that is worth up to 10 billion euros. The aid package is aimed to compensate organizations that were forced to close due to a new round of lockdowns. The German government decided to shut bars and restaurants from November 2, 2020 to November 30, 2020. Cinemas, theatres, concert halls, sports facilities, and trade fairs will also be closed. Shops that remain open would have to comply with strict social distancing limits.

Next door, France is seeing more than 50,000 new cases of coronavirus per day.

Italy has allocated more than 5 billion euros to help affected businesses.
