Temasek Dropped Part of a Multi-Billion Dollar Position in Alibaba Group

According to submitted filings for June 30, 2020 to the SEC, Singapore’s Temasek Holdings had trimmed its large position in Alibaba Group Holding Limited from having 24,122,675 reported shares down to 12,061,337 shares. The position swing is estimated at a sale worth US$ 2,601,630,607.
SWFI estimates Temasek also dropped significant positions in Fidelity National Information Services, Inc. at an estimated US$ 258 million sale, an estimated US$ 129.8 million sale in Virtu Financial, Inc., and a US$ 83.3 million sale in Nio Inc., a Chinese EV maker.
Last, Temasek made a hefty bet in BlackRock, taking a near US$ 3.24 billion position in the world’s largest asset manager.
