GIC Leads Series E Funding Round in Stack Overflow

New York-based Stack Overflow is a coding Q&A site. Stack Overflow raised US$ 85 million in a Series E funding round. Singapore’s GIC Private Limited led the Series E round. Other investors in the round include Silver Lake Waterman, and return investors Andreessen Horowitz, Index Ventures, Spark Capital, and Union Square Ventures (USV).
Stack Overflow’s flagship site of the Stack Exchange Network, created in 2008 by Jeff Atwood and Joel Spolsky. Stack Overflow CEO Prashanth Chandrasekar was appointed CEO of the company in October 2019. Chandrasekar is a former executive at Rackspace.
Silver Lake Waterman is part of Silver Lake Partners.
