Samruk-Kazyna Sells 6.27% Stake in Kazatomprom

Kazakhstan’s Samruk-Kazyna JSC received US$ 206 million by selling a 6.27% stake in NAC Kazatomprom JSC in the market. Samruk-Kazyna sold shares in the company at US$ 13 per global depositary receipt, a discount of about 6% to the market price. Samruk-Kazyna still holds a 75% stake in Kazatomprom, which is the largest uranium mining company in the world.
A stake of 0.01% in Kazatomprom is being offered to Kazakh retail investors at the same price.
