Comedian Joe Rogan runs one of the most popular shows called The Joe Rogan Experience, which is hosted on Youtube (owned by Alphabet). Many creatives are leaving Youtube for other platforms over concerns of de-monetization, censorship, and for other platforms which offer greater pay. Rogan’s podcast has built a massive and loyal following, getting more viewers than some prime-time cable news shows.
Joe Rogan is moving his show to Spotify.
Rogan’s tweet reads, “Announcement: the podcast is moving to spotify! Starting on September 1 the podcast will be available on Spotify as well as all platforms, and then at the end of the year it will move exclusively to Spotify,… ”
