The New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) informed the public it will temporarily close its historic physical trading floor in lower Manhattan and move over to full electronic trading. The NYSE is operated by Intercontinental Exchange, which acquired it in 2012.

In the previous week. CME Group closed its Chicago trading floor due to the viral outbreak.
