SoftBank International CFO Leaves and Starts New Firm

Alok Sama, the SoftBank Group International Chief Financial Officer, stepped down from his role. Alok Sama remained as a senior adviser to SoftBank Group Corporation. Alok Sama is starting his own company called Baer Capital Partners, which is based in Dubai.
Alok Sama spearheaded the teams for the massive US$ 59 billion merger between Sprint Corporation and T-Mobile, as well as the US$ 32 billion acquisition of chip designer Arm Holdings in 2016. Alok Sama is a former investment banker at Morgan Stanley who joined SoftBank in 2014.
