Malaysia’s EPF Allocates More to Sukuks

The adoption of Islamic finance as a viable asset class is gaining traction among SE Asian sovereign institutional investors. Malaysia’s Employees Provident Fund (EPF) is boosting fund allocation in Islamic bonds. In October 2010, the fund held $650 million in sukuks.
