CIC Aims for Walkie-Talkie Stake

The China Investment Corporation (CIC) is in discussions to buy a stake in the proposed “Walkie-Talkie”, the 500-foot tower at 20 Fenchurch Street designed by Rafael Vinoly. CIC approached Land Securities about taking an equity stake of up to 25 percent in the proposed building.
