SoftBank’s Arm Preparing AI Chips

SoftBank-majority owned Arm will be entering the market with AI chips in the coming years as the conglomerate’s plan to apply AI to everything continues. SoftBank CEO Masayoshi Son has stated for years that he intended to apply AI to all investments. Chip manufacturing could begin as early as next year. TSMC and other manufacturers are expected to contract with Arm for production.
Softbank Group Corporation is keen on the AI sector.
